CallCheck Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

CallCheck is a browser extension that shows how crypto tokens mentioned in posts on x.com have moved in price since each post was published. This policy explains what data it handles.

What CallCheck reads

On x.com, CallCheck reads the posts displayed on your screen to find cashtags (such as $PEPE) and crypto contract addresses. This happens locally in your browser. CallCheck does not run on any other website.

What CallCheck sends to its server

Only for posts that contain a cashtag or contract address, CallCheck sends:

CallCheck does not send or store the text of posts, your X account or handle, your browsing history, cookies, passwords, wallet addresses or keys.

What is stored and why

The server keeps a record of each looked-up post (post ID, author handle, post time, token and the token’s price at post time). These records are used to show results faster and to build aggregate statistics about how tokens moved after public posts. Records contain no information about the person viewing the posts. Standard server request logs, including IP addresses, may be kept for security and abuse prevention for up to 30 days.

In your browser, CallCheck stores your on/off setting, the install ID and a short-lived cache of recent results.

Third parties

Price data is fetched by the server from CoinGecko, GeckoTerminal and DexScreener using only token identifiers. No information about you is sent to them. CallCheck does not sell data, does not show ads and does not share data with third parties for advertising.

Your choices

Turn CallCheck off at any time from its toolbar popup, or uninstall it to stop all data collection. To ask about or delete data associated with your install ID, contact us at the address below.
